SALOME .

The Volksoper has a huge hit with a brilliant production of Richard Strauss’s Salome.

Annemarie Kremer was outstanding as Salome in a very demanding part, where she sometimes had to stretch against an orchestra running on full throttle. The famous “Dance of the Seven Veils” was masterful, a very sensitive performance by Annemarie Kremer, and without disrobing – any of the performances in November will explain what I mean.

Annemarie Kremer brilliert als Madama Butterfly.  Im Aalto-Theater Essen meistert die Sängerin erstklassig alle Fieberkurven ihre Partie. Eine ‘Butterfly’ steht und fällt mit der Besetzung der Titelrolle. Annemarie Kremer , lief in den folgenden Aufzügen zu ganz großer Form auf. Die Seelenqualen der ebenso starken wie zerbrechlichen Figur kann sie darstellerisch und stimmlich gleichermaßen überzeugend zum Ausdruck bringen. Ob verzweifelter Ausbruch, endlos ausschwingende Kantilene oder hoffnungslose Resignation: mit ihrer erstklassigen Stimme bewältigt Kremer alle Fieberkurven der Partie. Annemarie Kremer und Stefan Soltesz bilden zweifellos die Fundamente der überzeugenden Produktion.
